I think this has to be a first. A recent article I found on slashdot indicates and points out that Microsoft might be rethinking their strategy of not releasing a new version of IE. They say that they are “reconstituting” their Windows IE team. It seems to me like M$ is starting to get scared by the innovation that Mozilla is pumping out.
Like I’ve said before, M$ owes it to the public, as having a web browser used by the masses, to adhere more strictly to industry standards. I for one welcome IE back to the innovation field (maybe) and I can’t wait to see what they can produce to bring “new blood” and competition to the field.
