Here’s a thought regarding the ‘hero complex’ we place ourselves in:

A self-reliance on ourselves may make us short-term heroes but eventually we will become our own worst enemies by not trusting others.

When have you trusted others to your benefit?  Are there any situations which aren’t good for trusting others?
